Ordination to Diaconate

The ordinations to Transitional Diaconate of Stephen Lwebuga S.A.C., from Uganda, and Norbert Mukabwa S.A.C. from Kenya; will take place in Mbulu on January 11, 2017. The ordaining bishop will be Bishop Isaac Amani, Bishop of Moshi Diocese and Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Mbulu. Bishop Isaac Amani will also ordain deacons for the Diocese on the same day, the Pallottines are delighted to be part of this wonderful celebration.

Presently Norbert is partaking in his pastoral year in the Parish of St. Leo the Great in Makiungu, Diocese of Singida, and Stephen is partaking in his pastoral year in Queen of Apostles Parish, Dagoretti Market, Nairobi, Kenya. Both men will continue with their Pastoral Studies after Ordination to Diaconate.

When men are ordained Transitional Deacon, they enter upon the last stage in their preparation for the Priesthood. The office of Deacon however, is far more than just another milestone on the road to Priesthood. Deacons are called to do the will of God generously and to serve Him and others in love and joy. We wish Stephen and Norbert all the best as they prepare for Ordination to Diaconate and assure them of our prayers.
